Hi all! I've set up this thread as I'm feeling super grateful to have discovered Anatomy Trains, Anatomy Trains In Motion, and Slings and this “For All" online library. Thank you Tom, Karin and everyone else, for creating and sustaining all this. I've been practicing yoga and conscious dance for almost 25 years, and teaching yoga too, but have reached plateaus in my progress many times. A weak rounded back and a trigger point around/under the right scapula have been my main guides on my personal movement journey. But the act of finding truth that heals has been a matter of serendipity and grace for me. So when the universe indirectly pointed me towards this work twice in the space of 3 days during the last week, and I started to explore online, I realised that the Anatomy Trains is clearly the single massive missing piece in my understanding, and I'm hungry to address this imbalance both in body and mind. I already realise that some of my body sensations and spiral imbalances during yoga practice were signs that I needed a more complete and comprehensive movement map than what I had found so far. So the Anatomy Trains For All, plus online courses and classes with Karin are perfect for me to go deep with this work. I look forward to seeing how this evolves, both in my body and also for those people that I guide. Thank you so much again. Adam x
